Attorney Jonathan Wilson II is a general practitioner with an emphasis on criminal defense. Attorney Wilson aggressively defends the rights of his clients entangled in the criminal justice system—in many cases, due to no fault of their own. A native of Winston-Salem, he has represented clients all over the Triangle, Triad, and surrounding areas in a wide-range of matters from minor traffic offenses to first degree murder.
Prior to establishing J. Wilson Law, PLLC, Attorney Wilson practiced for several years at a criminal defense firm in Downtown Durham and interned with the Wake County Public Defender.
As law student at North Carolina Central University, Attorney Wilson was an active member of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA), Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity, and the Christian Legal Society. He also worked on Capitol Hill as a Legislative Intern to Senator Danny K. Davis (D-IL).
A proud Aggie, Attorney Wilson was a member of the Henry Frye Pre-Law Society and the Political Science Society while studying at North Carolina A&T State University. As an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Attorney Wilson volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America, serving as the co-den leader of Troop 29 in Greensboro, NC.
In his spare time, Attorney Wilson enjoys recreational sports, international travel, and mentoring youth. He resides in Southwest Durham with his wife Danielle, who is a civil defense attorney.
